NSTTC New Sponsorship Program & expansion News

The North Shore Table Tennis Club (NSTTC) – currently located at the Gloria Dei Church, 1110 Gladwin Drive has announced a new sponsorship program to help fund its new schools programs, and expansion of its Training Center. They are currently in negotiations to lease a space on the North Shore that would have 7,000 sq feet and provide space for up to 16 new training table tennis tables. Pub Night/ Fund Raiser for NSTTC

The NSTTC is also hosting a pub night Sunday August 16th at The Two Lions Public House at 2601 Westview Drive, North Vancouver, from 6pm to midnight. Tickets are only $25 and include one Free Beverage of your choice at the bar, plus a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a two night stay in Whistler.
There will be a Table tennis table available for play, and for $5 you can Challenge the Pro to the best out of 3 Balls – with the “PUB” buying a Beverage for anyone that beats the Pro!
Live entertainment is also included, and will be provided by the Scott Riddell Band who starts playing around 9PM, so bring your dancing shoes too. There will also be a silent auction and a chance to bid on some cool stuff. And in case you don’t feel like cooking – The Two Lions Pub will also be providing a ‘Show Menu’ with great prices, as they do for all big shows.

Summer hours up-date for The NSTTC

The NSTTC is now open late for drop-ins on Thursday from 3-10pm. The other drop- in hours are: Mondays 3-10pm, Tuesdays 2:30-6:30pm, and Fridays 3-10pm. You may also reserve tables for group play, time with a training robot, or book coaching sessions by contacting Luba at 604-209-7037 or emailing the club at – nsttc@nullshaw.ca .

Vancouver Ping Pong Meet-up News

Jet has joined William and Mike as an assistant organizer, and hosted his second successful Tuesday trial meet-up on July 21. Based on the positive feedback from the 8 who attended, Jet says “It really looks like Tuesday afternoon can turn into a regular one”.
