In case you haven’t heard, there is a tournament open to all ages being hosted by Villa Cathay Care Home on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Bridgeport Sports Club (11660 Bridgeport Rd, Richmond). This sounds like fun for a good cause, and there will be cash prizes of up to $300, and raffle draws throughout the day – a fun Sunday afternoon for everyone!
This is a non-sanction tournament with two categories; One for Competitive players with a Canadian rating, and one for Recreational players without a Canadian rating. The format for both is – Preliminary rounds = best of 1 game single elimination, Semis + Finals = best of 5 games.
Note: Format subject to change depending on the number of participants. A finalized bracket with all information will be announced a week before the tournament.

It is free to spectate and to enjoy the games. Food will be sold on site by their food vendors.
